Are you celebrating a big birthday? Perhaps you're visiting the Scottish Borders for a romantic mini-moon? Or you're maybe looking for a day out that doubles up as a reunion with old friends? At Jacksons at Jedburgh we can work with you to create a bespoke farm tour and experience that is unique to your group and built around areas of interest and your own wishes for the day.
There's always something different happening at Kersheugh but we'll always set off from the yard before tailoring our route to the seasonal work of the farm - whether that be lambing out in the fields or moving our livestock along the country lanes around the farm.
Working with local suppliers, we can arrange for a deluxe picnic overlooking the farmland or we can arrange for the delivery of some fancy lunchboxes that you can graze on as we tour the farm in the Land Rover drawn trailer - with 435 acres of land you'll never be short of an idyllic picnic spot at Kersheugh and views of local landmarks such as the Waterloo Monument and Ruberslaw are the perfect back-drop.
On returning to the farm, you can meet and feed our friendly farm animals (including our lovely Highland Cow and our Tamworth pig Abi) as well as ask any questions you might have about their care or farming in general. Craft, farming and wellbeing activities are also an option and we'd be happy to discuss any ideas you have for your "perfect" itinerary.
Although tours tend to last about 1.5-2 hours, we are flexible and we're happy to discuss any ideas you may have (and throw some of our own suggestions in) on enquiry. To find out more or to start planning a bespoke tour at Kersheugh Farm, call Jasmine on 07720891981 or email jas@jacksonsatjedburgh.co.uk
Please note that due to Covid there are restrictions on how many adults we can accommodate on each tour.
All tickets are fully refundable if Covid restrictions change and prevent your tour from going ahead.
