Weekly sessions for children ages 12months and upward. An opportunity to explore the outdoors, play messy and get up close to farm animals in a safe environment. The sessions are led by Jasmine who, along with Fenwick, runs the family farm outside Jedburgh. The sessions will follow seasonal themes meaning they will be change and develop throughout the farming year. Some weeks there will be a craft to make and take home, others we will be collecting eggs from the chickens or painting in the outdoor play area. What do we need to bring/wear?
All sessions will take place outdoors (although we do have an undercover area for activities during poor weather. It's important that both adults and children are dressed appropriately. This would be warm clothes, wellies and insulated waterproofs. Sensible footwear is essential on all days despite weather.
We do have a selection of waterproof suits and wellies available if you do not have them. Please let us know if you would like to borrow and I can check sizes.
If you have any questions or queries contact Jasmine by email at email@example.com or call 07720891981
We will be following government guidelines as they evolve over the weeks and implementing social distancing as required. As the venue is mostly outside (and the inside area has an open front) we hope you can relax and enjoy your session without the use of masks. We have full hand washing facilities at our venue and will be providing hand sanitising areas also. If you have any worries please get in touch.
CHILDMINDERS: We are planning to run some sessions specially for childminders, if you would like more information on this please email Jasmine: firstname.lastname@example.org
