A unique family experience in the scottish borders

Get hands on and learn about lambing time on a real working farm this spring. Jacksons at Jedburgh’s popular Farm Experience Attraction in the Scottish Borders will be open from the 1st of April.

How to get hands on at the farm this lambing time?

Option ONE -Add lamb feeding to your usual Farm Day Ticket - As well as exploring everything the farm has to offer you can spend time learning about the lambs on the farm in a guided session. Here you’ll find out why we have some orphan lambs, how we look after them and you’ll even get to bottle feed a lamb yourself.
*It is essential to book lamb feeding prior to arriving at the farm as these experiences are so popular. Lamb feeding slots can be booked during checkout for ‘Farm Day Tickets’.

Option TWO - Book something extra special - The Lambing Experience - an evening where you will be as close to a farmer at lambing time as it's possible to get. You’ll take a trailer tour round our lambing fields followed by getting stuck in to helping with the evening jobs that are necessary on the farm at this time of year - yes that includes bottle feeding our 'pet' lambs! * As this is an evening experience the rest of the farm will not be open after the experience. If you would like to explore the farm you are more than welcome to arrive up to 1hour prior to your experience. No Under 5s.

When lambing season draws to a close there will still plenty to do at the farm. Highland Cows, Goats, Sheep, Chickens, farm walks and more. A season ticket is a great and cost effective way to visit throughout the season. If you're looking to treat someone for a special birthday, Mothers day or Valentine this year then A Highland Cow Experience or a Day Ticket Voucher creates unforgettable memories.
