Unless we can get a baby sitter and actually muster enough energy to leave the house then gone are the late-night parties, dancing and fireworks. It doesn’t mean all the fun is gone though - a couple of years ago I had a lightbulb idea and born was our annual ‘Family Balloon Countdown’, an easy New years eve activity for families to enjoy together.

Beginning first as a little group of friends in the farm house kitchen, I’ve been running wreath workshops on our family farm each December since 2018. After having to take a break from workshops in 2022 after having a new baby the year before and basically burning myself out (It’s all a learning curve!) I’m thrilled to announce that my beloved Christmas wreath workshops are making a triumphant return for 2023!

As authentic a farm experience as you can get without having to do a full days graft. With pigs, chickens, sheep, Highland cows and goats to get up close to and feed you’re not short of entertainment during your visit. The play area is a down to earth, low key, paradise that encourages peaceful and imaginative play in an idyllic location.
